Prior to Optum Leo was VP of Engineering at Apixio, an AI startup that extracts clinical insights from billions of healthcare records. At Apixio Leo led the design and development of a fully managed Healthcare AI platform.

Prior to Apixio, he led engineering and product management teams at multiple startups and Fortune 500 companies.

Leo received his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Uppsala, holds two patents, and is a graduate of the Engineering Leadership Program at UC Berkeley.
